Collaboration in Education
Educational establishments are being encouraged to seek new ways to collaborate, to pool resources and join together to form Collaborative Boards. Until now, Collaboration has been the subject of Higher Educational establishments particulary Universites. This may be due to the fact that they also have more of an internal and candidate need for such systems.
Now all organisations, from Nursery Schemes through to Higher education can start to benefit from Collaboration. In particular, we aim our services at Nurserys, Infant and Junior schools together with out-of-school facilitators where access to technical consultancy and support may be more limited and there is less internal need for such systems. The PTA and other committee based groups can be included.
Smaller educational establishments tend to miss out on opportunities and software that might be available to larger organisations, we can help address this imbalance.
Improved Procurement Pooling expenditure will
result in improved procurement and tender processes
Reduction in Effort Effective collaboration will
result in reduce duplicated effort and easier dissemination and discovery of relevant
information
Reducing Individual Demand Sharing resources
allows demands on individuals to be reduced.
Single Point of Contact The Collaborative Board
carries forward the project jointly. The Team can be the point of contact rather
than individuals.
Microsoft Licensing Services Ensure you are getting
the best value for money possible for the licenses you deploy.
Reflecting Budgetary Controls All our services
are on a monthly contract and need not be taken organisation wide so minimal committment,
upfront costs and capital expenditure.
We develop modules that will be of benefit to the general market and as such are generally either free or with greatly reduced costs. A simple example might be attendance records and invoicing for out-of-school activity. We will of course also make available modules as they become available from Microsoft too such as team learning, classroom management etc.
